
Obtaining a marriage license in Hawaii is easy!
Part of My Paradise Wedding coordination includes setting up the appointment with the state licensing agent to obtain the marriage
license. We will schedule this for you a couple of days prior to the ceremony.
Kauai Marriage License Information
- No residence or citizenship requirements.
- Legal age to marry is 18 years of age for the bride and the groom. Proper identification for the bride
and groom in the form of a valid driver's license/picture ID showing your name and date of birth.
- No birth certificate is required.
- If either partner has been married before, he or she will have to state the date, county and state (or country)
in which the divorce was finalized for each previous marriage.
- The license also requires the names of each partner's parents and the places where they were born.
- There is no waiting period.
- You are free to marry once a license is obtained.
- There is a $60 wedding license fee, paid in cash, to the licensing agent.
